For this project, I designed a book cover for a fictional detective novel titled “Shadows of the Past.” The novel's tone is suspenseful, mysterious, and gritty, so I aimed to reflect those themes visually through a moody and atmospheric design.

Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I experimented with a dark, desaturated color palette to create a sense of foreboding. The focal point is a door opening to . Subtle details like the reflection was added to amplify the suspense and intrigue.

For typography, I selected a bold, serif font with sharp, angular edges to convey the intensity and seriousness of the story. The title contrasts against the dark background, ensuring it draws the reader’s attention.
