Concept: Creating a set of visually clear icons based off a random combination of two words
I designed a set of 12 unique icons derived from random word pairings, exploring how to visually merge two distinct concepts into cohesive, recognizable symbols. This exercise pushed my ability to simplify complex ideas while maintaining clarity and usability in the final design.
I chose six words and randomly paired them together. Using tools like Adobe Illustrator, I aimed to seamlessly blend the two words into one icon, studying especially which aspects of each word would have the most visual clarity when seen at low resolutions.
